Are the images in the gallery for sale?
Yes of course, currently the images presented are only a taste of what is in store for the future, I'm currently in the process of digitizing 10 years worth of my archived work. So the gallery will be a "constant work in process"
Can I commission you?
Most certainly, the secondary purpose of my site is to offer my services for personal nude and erotic photography for women, men and couples. You may choose from the studio environment,or your home and /or an outdoor location.
How much does it cost?
Minimum prices start at 182.00 EUR from the studio in Neufeld/L. For a precise quote you would need to make an appointment to discuss your personal needs.
I'm interested so what now?
The first step is to contact me by phone or by e-mail to arrange an appointment. There is no cost for meeting me for discussion.We will discuss what you would like your photographs to be and can present my portfolio to help in the process. Also I will share tips to help you prepare before your photographic session. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and have a positive experience.
Colour or Black & White format?
The medium I prefer for fine art nude photography is primary to use black & white film. The reasons being I personally find black & white photography far more expressive as a medium, final prints may of course be colour toned or hand painted in oils. Also on offer is a digital solution with today's advancement in technology it has opened up a new world of endless creative possibilities.
Will you display our personal photo's?
No, people sometimes become confused with the differentiation between exhibited photography and commissioned photography.Comissioned photography is created solely for the client who hires me. Works of this nature are never displayed or sold, you as the client retain control as to who sees them. My exhibited photography is exclusively my private work featuring my models.
Why don't I see the models faces in your gallery?
Well that is just of my style,I prefer to let the viewer use her or his imagination and to communicate my themes on a non verbal level, not to confuse the issue with a personality.One advantage of my style in the area of my commissioned work is that many people feel more comfortable in displaying their photos openly in the home as it is their choice whether they reveal the identity of the models in the art works.
Who are the models
In truth none of them are professional models. I prefer to work with real every day people with real lives that is not to say that professional models are not real people too. The models I have used are family members, friends, people who have seen my work, past clients who have volunteered to be part of my personal gallery, and finally self portraits of myself.
Why everyday people?
Firstly, amateur models contribute a certain innocence and spontaneity of emotions and movement and these are the qualities I prefer to add to the various themes in my work.Secondly, Advertising and fashion would like to dictate to the masses what constitute the perfect form to have that is far from reality.Humanity comes in many shapes, sizes and colours so as an artist one should encompass the many flavors humanity has to offer.
On being a model?
I am always interested in meeting new people to photograph for my artwork. You must be at least 18 years old. Experience in modeling is not required. It is even preferable to me that you have little or no modeling experience, since you will have few preconceived notions of how to "pose". The type of people I'm looking for are real everyday people interested in art creation and the fun of a new experience, you don't need to have a figure of a goddess/god. I am currently working on some ideas for certain themes and for these themes I will be looking for women,men and couples couples with body piecing , graphic style tattoo and elderly people 60 yrs and above Payment is generally in the form of exhibition quality photographic art prints.
